"Listen to your mom"

I overheard a little conversation at the breakfast table between mom and son. Mom was calmly encouraging him to run for president in some student clubs, and the son bargained and offered an alternative. They seemed to reach an agreement.

I might not always agree with her views, opinions, and comments. If they two are in agreement with each other once in a while, I am happy for it. On the way driving him to school, like many other days, I told him to “keep up the good work at school”, and I added one today,  "listen to your mom.”
