My friend\'s pain

Please pray for my brother Robbie and his wife Debbie and their family. They are both in the hospital at St. Johns. Debbie had surgery on Monday and physically she is well but not emotionally because Robbie is near death and Debbie is unable to see him.

It is with great sadness that I share the news with you of my brother Robbie's death.  Robbie was always fond of fast and exciting rides and roller coasters were some of his favorites.  And that is exactly what we joined him on this past several days.  There were many ups and downs, many moments of sadness and many of joy.  We were often told to make plans and to prepare for his passing and than shortly later would receive good news that he had tolerated a medical procedure or test that would give us hope.  That certainly was not the fault of the fine medical team that had him under care, and were absolutely wonderful thru out.  It was simply due to Robbie's strength and his desire to live.  Those of you that knew him personally, I am sure can recall his stubbornness as well as his resilience.
