闺女的问题，大家帮我看看，这是啥意思？

是不是我需要额外花时间和她聊聊数学？她对我说最近变得比较懒散，她数学在高级荣誉班上，但平时没见她怎么学，整天就是玩IPHONE了。

我以前很PUSH她，自从她进入到荣誉班，就很少管她了，看到老师的这封信，联想到她平时不学习，我有点担心了。

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how impressed I have been with Abbie’s maturity and strength of character.  I know the material is not coming as easily to her as it used to, and I can see that it is bothering her.  However, I have also seen how hard she continues to work, even when things haven’t gone her way.  Prior to the quiz today, she came to class with a specific list of questions that she wanted to review before taking the quiz.  Once the rest of the class got started on the quiz, Adelle and I were able to sit at the back table together one-on-one to work through each of her questions to ensure she was prepared to do well on the quiz today.  I was really impressed with her proactive approach and, of course,  I have my fingers crossed that the quiz went well for her!
