1)Llamas are seemingly incongruously closely related to camels, even though camels only exist naturally in the Old World and llamas in the New World. However, they live in similarly harsh environments and have many similar adaptations for life in extremely dry conditions. If angered, a llama will spit in self-defense.

2)This interesting amphibian is the axolotl. Unlike most other amphibians, which are entirely aquatic in their juvenile stage but progress to a partially terrestrial adult state, the axolotl, a type of salamander, remains entirely aquatic throughout its life. It never loses its external gills or develops lungs.
