摄影器材都保了险，是在Home Owner Insurance基础之上的additional
coverage，原名叫Inland Marine，保险公司的人好像更喜欢叫它personal items。这个险种的特点是zero deductible，保被盗，自己犯错造成的损坏，甚至mysterious disappearance。这次丢的器材里D800, Tokina 16-28/2.8，24mm/1.4，脚架都保在Inland Marine里，而别的因为新买不久没来的及或价值已低（D70）不在这个特殊险里，只能从Home Owner’s policy去claim，但有1000刀的deductable。要claim损失，最重要的文件听上去是那个accident/damage/police report，其次是找到所有能证明ownership的发票或别的东西 （D70只有user manual，Laptop只有shipping packing slip和机器的quick guidance，公司都认可了）。计算是指根据丢失物品的age折旧，但Inland Marine保的物品应该是full original replacement。希望给我的是一张支票，而不是器材，因为有的器材已停产了。
