ah-
anyway thanx for reply my comment

It is interesting opinion because opinion, cause ur chinese.
But I can't understand some of yours.

Why do you think this massacre is not true?
CPC have continued to the oppression toward the Tibetian(also other minority group) for a long time, and there were massacre.
You'd better not to rely what CPC says.
They control chinese thought and imformation. How silly you are if you believe what CCTV's news says.

Do you knouw how many Tibetian(not army, but the public)killd this time?

You said"The truth is: Truth is always difficult to know."
,butI don't agree.Because the probrem is quite simple.
CPC want Tibetian underground resouces and ethnic cleaning.

I'm sorry if you get mad with my opinion, but what i said is the fact and common opinion among the world.

Thanks for your reply.

I think CPC is stupid.  There was violence in Lahsa.  CPC's first reaction was to shut down international media's entry.  One reason is that CPC is an old party and system. Its manner is still similar as 20 years ago.  And this reaction was exployed by the Free Tibet. That's why I say it's stupid.

The second reason is international media is biased as well.  You can find some examples on youtube.  That is why some Chinese are furious and refuse to talk.  That is partially why CPC refuses to talk.

Anyway, I believe communication is the most important.
No violence. No war.

Give China some time, give Chinese some time, please.  China is not as old as you think, it has only thirty years' modern development.

p.s. whether it is massacre, you can watch some Australian tourists.  What CPC or China says does not count in this world anymore. Again, that's why I say it is stupid.

Btw,  most Chinese don't differentiate CPC and China. most Chinese not only love their country, but support CPC.  Maybe we think CPC is impotent, immature, not democratic.  But only CPC can bring China good.  Most Chinese know that.  If some people attach CPC with malice, most Chinese will not accept.

Chinese may not have freedom of speech.  But Chinese understand the value of a nation and a country sometimes overrides personal value.  Again, please don't your democracy to explain Chinese democracy.

Thanks for reading.

-  A Chinese

p.s.  I do not know how many Tibetan died this time, but I know how many non-Tibetan died.  The situation might be more comlicated than you think.  CPC treat minority ethnics very well, BETTER than treating me, a Han.  There is too much detail I don't have time to tell this time.

However, the dispute originates from the Tibetan religion.  They believe in a future life, rather than a current life.  That's why 60 years ago, before the liberation (by us)/ invation (by international, probably you as well),  the non-monks were willing to give up all their property to support the monks hierarch with Dela Laima on the top.

Ironically, even now, the Tibetan non-monks in China still give up their property, then receive help from Chinese government.

CPC has trouble in handling this issue.  When CPC treats the Tibetan too well (financially and materially), better than treating me,  Tibetans become lazy, they don't work by receiving govenmental help.  Thus, their ability to survive in the society decreases.  The result is that they feel discriminated because other Chinese work and earn more than them.

If CPC treats the Tibetan as well as treating us,  well, they may as well complain that they are abused.

Again, I say CPC has a stupid policy.  Elimination of descrimination or difference requires undescriminated treatment.  I hope CPC will realize and learn this in the near future.

Give you an example,  I don't know where you come from, but you may have heard of the single family plan in China.  I will tell you this:  this plan did not apply to the Tibetan.
that's why I say "Elimination of descrimination or difference requires undescriminated treatment."

I also the way to treat violence is criminal charge, or "crackdown" as you prefer.
