I think I have IBS. I am taking some bacterial suppliment. I am getting
better. But I don't knoe if it's safe to take them for a long time. Is there
an alternative treatment.

There are many causes for chronic diarrhea. Have you had any workups?
Any blood in stool? Mucus? Abdominal pain? How long the problem has
been going on?How many times of bowel movements a day? Any food
makes it worseor
better? Do you food allergy or lactose intolerance? Any familymembers have same
problem?
IBS tends to have alternating constipation and diarrhea, and abdominal
pain tends to go away after BM, and stress makes it worse. Please let me
know. Thanks.
Probiotics tend to work better in diarrhea related to antibiotics use.

You should see a doctor if you have IBD. Usually a short term treatment
of antibiotics followed by long-term probiotics may significantly reduce
the relapse rate of IBD. By the way, the bacterial supplement you are
taking contains beneficial bacteria (probiotics), long-term
supplementation of probiotics is very safe. Good Luck!
我的补充是: 常拉肚子的人,消化道里的菌群失调,以至于
食欲与消化能力都不好。所以,我建议这个网友不妨吃一些
帮助消化,提高食欲的东西,如酸奶,胰酶。。。
这样你的食欲好了,消化能力好了,吃的东西才能更好的吸收,
你才能长胖一点,身体慢慢好起来。然后去做一些运动,把自己
锻炼的像其他人一样坚强!
