Key point：

1.   Rikka 特点：round base ，straight centerline and centerpoint

      Shokka特点：straight base

2.   Shimputai 特点：

      Shu (star); Yo (co-star); Ashirai 

3.  Rikka Shimputai 特点:

    1）Movement，重点在right or left side of arrangement    

    2）bending of De， wiring and taping are more flexible， no set rule

    3）base is round， insert point is the same as normal Rikka。（?？）

    4)  有 visible or invisible centerline 或 centerpoint, 见 Page 3

5.  关于Rachael work的问答：

Q: 那根horsetail 用wire了吗？它的位置和方向特别生动，画龙点睛

A: 它的曲度是天然的，但是在De的位置用了wire，让它横着伸出去。

Q: 各部分的De的高度如何定的？

A: Betty said it is more flexible now, no fix rule. Last time the De are all around 5cm above the rim of the vase; but the rules are changing. When she touch up for Carole's work, she inserted one branch with De roughly 20cm tall, as the arrangement was tall overrall and the high bending points amde the branch complement with rest. 

Q: About centerline

A: I particularly like Rachel's allium, this is the invisible centre line right ? And the large hosta at the back, nicely placed.
