六宫粉黛无颜色; Six palaces of colorful women turn colorless;
后宫佳丽三千人，In back yard palaces, there're 3 thousands of beauties,
三千宠爱在一身. All 3 thousands of love, are all in and upon to you -- my only one.
长生殿上
Pear flowers bloom, spring touches rain;
Pear flowers drop, spring falls into ground.
This life, one person only, (I'm) departing for.
Appreciate Him, an emporer king,
Love, also exclusively, love also exclusively.
梨花颂 Ode of Pear Flower
After Honored Wife Yang died, Emporer Li Longji had written:
在天愿作比翼鸟, Up on sky, love to be flying birds wing to wing,
在地愿为连理枝; Down to earth, love to be vines hand in hand;
天长地久有时尽, Ever lasting heaven and earth, have their time of ending,
此恨绵绵无绝期. My deepest regret tangles over and over forever with no finishing.
