2011年4月加拿大西部山脉公园之旅-5 (Athabasca River)

At 1,538 km in length, the Athabasca River is Alberta’s longest undammed river and its second largest by volume. The river, extending from the Columbia Icefield near Jasper to Lake Athabasca, drains the 159,000 km² Athabasca River Basin before eventually flowing into the Arctic Ocean via the Mackenzie River.

全长1538公里，Athabasca河是阿尔伯塔省最长的河流，流量位居第二。源自靠近JASPER的哥伦比亚冰原，流入Athabasca湖。流域覆盖了159000平方公里。最终经由Mackenzie River流入北冰洋。

我们在从Athabasca瀑布到Sunwapata瀑布的路上欣赏到了很多Athabasca河流和山脉的景色。

 

公路大多的时间就是沿着这条河流。

很多的河面还是被冰雪覆盖

而海面就是这样一点一点的融化的

蜿蜒流长的Athabasca River

这个山白雪的覆盖率很高。

路边可以经常看到这些我们不知什么名字的山脉。

阳光照射在融化的水面上，波光粼粼，晶莹剔透。

我们一家在这些河边的礁石上玩耍了很长的时间。
