请问关于KNOCK-IN和KNOCK-OUT ORGANISMS的问题!

I have a question about the differences between knock-in and knock-out organism?
I know that Knock-out organisms are which certain genes are sliences, thus the organisms will lack certain functions or express certain mutation.

But would knock-in organism be the opposite, in which certain/new genes are introduced into the organisms, so the organisms now have a new functions?

I have done some research, but can\'t seem to find a very complete explaination on techniques for generating knock-in organisms!
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks a lot!
