Has anyone can help me out for this question

I have the questions about 824. I applied first H1b in three years ago. At that time I had failed to change the status because of gap. My lawyer had filed 824 for me to change consulate from Shanghai to Canada since I only get H1B approved not change status approved. I finally have it worked out to apply F2 first then F2 changed H1B. At that time I asked my lawyer if I need withdraw that 824 application and lawyer said to me it doesn\'t matter, as a result I didn\'t follow up that I-824 and still don\'t know how was going on.

I am wondering if there any impact on my I-485 I just submit in July?
