MERV 12 Furnace Filters
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) represents the efficiency of a furnace filter. A higher MERV rating indicates higher filtration performance.
Guardian™ Clean Air Filters offer the highest filtration for a furnace filter capturing 90% of pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. Electrostatic fibers attract and capture contaminants from the air, such as mold and mildew, pet dander, dust and dust mites, pollen, bacteria and smoke. The MERV 12 rating is the highest possible filtration for a furnace filter on the market.
A strong frame resists pressure to bend or break from airflow, ensuring all air passes through the filter.
A pleated filter provides additional surface area to capture particles.
Design operates effectively and efficiently with most residential heating and air conditioning systems. The filter is dense enough to capture the tiniest particles, yet allow the appropriate amount of air to flow through and provides 35% more air flow than standard non-woven furnace filters.
