Demand and Economic Prosperity

After world war II, American economic is in very good status. War caused demand, more supplies were requested, more jobs were created. Demand brings out prosperity. 

Demand is important. Demands should can be find out in very easy way.  All people, all countries demand lots of things.  Why we don't find out demands all the time? Then, can economic be prosperity all the time?
