sweet pain

leaving for work in the morning is always a challenge. I still have to announce it: "hi baby, mommy is leaving for work." the little one will stop his current play, run up to me, reach out to meet my arms, hug me, and say it for the 1000 and 1st time:"don't go to work, mommy!" I can not say anything, just hug and kiss him more. then, let go and smile: "mommy will try to come back early and play with you!, another kiss!". he knows that he is not getting what he wants, but he accepted it for this day and try again tomorrow.
