耶 利 米 書 1

4 耶 利 米 说 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 我 说 ：

 5 我 未 将 你 造 在 腹 中 ， 我 已 晓 得 你 ； 你 未 出 母 胎 ， 我 已 分 别 你 为 圣 ； 我 已 派 你 作 列 国 的 先 知 。

 6 我 就 说 ： 主 耶 和 华 啊 ， 我 不 知 怎 样 说 ， 因 为 我 是 年 幼 的 。

 7 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ： 你 不 要 说 我 是 年 幼 的 ， 因 为 我 差 遣 你 到 谁 那 里 去 ， 你 都 要 去 ； 我 吩 咐 你 说 甚 麽 话 ， 你 都 要 说 。

 8 你 不 要 惧 怕 他 们 ， 因 为 我 与 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

 9 於 是 耶 和 华 伸 手 按 我 的 口 ， 对 我 说 ： 我 已 将 当 说 的 话 传 给 你 。

 10 看 哪 ， 我 今 日 立 你 在 列 邦 列 国 之 上 ， 为 要 施 行 拔 出 、 拆 毁 、 毁 坏 、 倾 覆 ， 又 要 建 立 、 栽 植 。

17 所 以 你 当 束 腰 ， 起 来 将 我 所 吩 咐 你 的 一 切 话 告 诉 他 们 ； 不 要 因 他 们 惊 惶 ， 免 得 我 使 你 在 他 们 面 前 惊 惶 。

 18 看 哪 ， 我 今 日 使 你 成 为 坚 城 、 铁 柱 、 铜 墙 ， 与 全 地 和 犹 大 的 君 王 、 首 领 、 祭 司 ， 并 地 上 的 众 民 反 对 。

 19 他 们 要 攻 击 你 ， 却 不 能 胜 你 ； 因 为 我 与 你 同 在 ， 要 拯 救 你 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

Jeremiah 1:
 4 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,

 5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew ^[a] you,
       before you were born I set you apart;
       I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

 6 "Ah, Sovereign LORD," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."

 7 But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.

 9 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

"Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. 18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.
