先解释一下什么是变态。首先， 拿这套东西的人象个变态，脸皮薄的人就不要试了。其次，灯架可以任意组合，变化形态。如有必要，可同时放两只灯。
有的朋友会问，为什么不用ring flash. 原因如下：
1. Money, money, money
2. 不敢肯定ring flash 是否能装到小竹炮上。
3. 和ring flash 比较，我的装置的光源面积大，角度好。The quality of the light is also better because the light is diffused.
4. 不用再去健身房练举重了。
蜗牛喜阴，所以拍它时光线总不会很好。虽然也想过把它拿到太阳底下来拍，但觉得有点儿太缺因尔作罢。另外，蜗牛在不动时，身体总会缩在壳儿里，所以要想拍它身体时，就必须在它爬行当中下手。小家伙虽然爬的慢，但对于微距来讲，也快赶上刘翔了。 还有，它的一双小眼睛长在一对触角上，触角会在爬行中象雷达天线似的转来转去，使拍摄清晰的眼睛更加困难。我个人认为，在微距摄影中，如果被摄主体的眼睛不清晰，就基本属于废片了。还是因为眼睛长在触角上的原故，使它们远离身体，因此就必须用尽可能小的光圈来获得景深使身体也对焦清晰。光线暗, 光圈小, 目标运动, 所以在拍蜗牛时最好用微距灯架。最后不得不提一下用灯的额外好处，就是让两个小眼睛都获得catching light. 人家是画龙点睛，我是拍牛点睛。
夜拍微距，灯架更乃必备之物。

灯架是Bogen / Manfrotto 3278B Macro Flash Bracket. The reflector and diffuser of the flash are parts of LumiQuest Promax System (LQ-931D). 内闪作为commander, 外闪充当slave. 它们之间是通过 尼康的wireless protocol 来进行同步的。 具体安装步骤如下：
1. Screw in the lens on the base of the bracket.
2. Screw in the arm on the base of the bracket.
3. Screw in the flash socket on the arm.
4. Insert the flash into the socket.
5. Put the reflector onto the flash.
6. Put the removable frosted diffusion screen onto the reflector.
7. Fine tune the position of the flash to serve your needs.
The set can also be used under the direct sunlight which is used as the filled light and the flash is used as main light source. Set the shutter speed slower than 1/60 sec so the sunlight can be filled in. The flash will stop the action anyway. 这种用光的方法和在阳光下照portrait时用flash light 来做 filled light 的做法正好相反。参看下图。
