Have you ever watched the movie “The Devil Wears Prada”? It is a comedy with a touch of fashion. The story is about the experience of a young clever journalist Audrea who finds a job as an assistant to the editor-in-chief of Runway fashion magazine. Miranda is an elegant and picky boss; she has fired tens of girls from this prestigious assistant position. But Audrea learned fast and adjusted herself from her “casual wear” to a helpful and stylish assistant. She becomes qualified to represent her fashion magazine. She finally got Miranda’s trust along with a promotion thanks to her work. At last, she realizes that she has lost herself by devoting her life to Miranda, decides to quit her position and go back to her journalist job. The whole movie contains lots of beautiful clothes and accessories. Those fabulous clothes on the stunning actresses make the whole movie a very enjoyable experience. Watching the movie made me feel almost like I’m reading a moving fashion magazine.
After watching this movie, I found myself has leant a bit more, perhaps, in fashion. Fashion it is not made only for rich people. Of course, with more money one can pursue the best luxuries of the fashion world. However, as normal working people, we can enjoy as much as we could. If we pay attention to what is suitable to ourselves, and our outfits go with suitable acceories, then bingo, we got a fashion taste at the moment. Our clothes can talk for us. A person should wear different clothes for different occasions. With suitable clothes one can gain much confident and comfort, that would do much help on her/his business. Many famous people have shared their experiences on this. Magritte satchel- the most elegant previous British prime minister said that she always picks up a familiar suit from her closet when she is facing a chanlenging occasion. She would never take the risk to wear a new suit and make her feel uncomfortable in that case.
Talking about fashion, then certainly will talk about trend. Every two seasons of a year there will be a trend released. The trend can be a color, a material or a pattern. For example, this year it was first white color, then purple. It is not surpring that suddenly lots of people can be seen wearing in white colors, or carrying something in purple. Sometimes the trend could be a replay of 80’s or 90’s. One could find to their surprise that they are actually in the new trend by wearing mother’s clothes. In the fashion world, different colors usually represant different feelings and meanings. Black, navy blue they belong to cold color family. They give an impression to others of cold, serious, well, and sexy. Red, yellow, and orange, they are regarded as warm color. They give an impression of enthusiasm, confident, friendly and pleasant. Green represents peace, nature, fair, calm and happy. Yellow represents intelligent, bright, active and future. Purple is a color of mature, lonely, grace and noble. It does not necessary for one person to have all those colors, but should have and keep some basic colors. As basic colors such as black, navy blue, brown or grey they are always safe to have in one’s closet. It is very flexible to select colors of accessories. You may wear something in contrast or in agree color according to the color of your hair, or according to the shape of your body. In most of the cases it is safe wearing a pair of shoes in the same color as your hair, and choose a bag which is opposite of your body shape. For example soft and cozy bag would be looked good for a slender and thin person.
Talking about fashion, then certainly will talk about the brand. There have been many successful fashion industries with their well known brand. Such as Gucci, Celine, LouisVuitton, channel, etc... A brand can worth lots of money. However, a clever way for normal office people would be to find those lovely and good quality products in the market. Do not recommend one lost herself in pursuing vanity and forget the reality of her situation.
