If you know a little bit of Christianity, you know it does not encourage economical development. It encourages its followers to make prayers constantly, which leave them no time to contribute to productivity.
Jesus asked his disciples to store treasure in heaven, not to make money on this earth. How could Christians become rich? Jesus said: For rich people to go to heaven is like for camels to go through the eye of a needle. He also said that poor people were blessed.
The wealth created in any developed countries has nothing to do with Christianity, it is created by people who make money on this earth, either through technology or military, which most rich countries have practiced throughout recent history.
All the Chinese religions encourage people to become rich, both spiritually and materially, with good balance between the two. When the environment is good for the Chinese and people of Chinese culture, including Koreas, Japanese, they all become rich.
People often make conclusions based on wishful thinking, which is rampant among religious believers. In the eyes of those people, whatever that is related to their religion is good; whatever is related to other religions is evil, which typically demonstrate the perils of religions.
People of a religion need first to wash themselves of the dirt of dogma that has tainted their mind before they make any judgements. Otherwise they make themselves fools before their audience.
