见过这样的老师吗？我该怎么办？

儿子刚上小学一年级。上周开学那天，我给老师写了个email, 主要是介绍一下孩子的情况。也问她的建议。因为我们是非英语家庭，请教如何帮助孩子提高英文。

到现在一周了，她都没有回email。我这心哪，真是“瓦凉瓦凉”的。孩子以前kindergarten的老师非常好，每次email都回得很及时，说的话也很温暖。我真不知道那这个老师怎么办了。有什么好的建议吗？谢谢

Encourage your son to read and enjoy the time with good peers. Teachers do not do that much in school. Make sure the boy fits in a good group.

Be patient. This teacher might be too busy to check her email or she does not have the habit to use email. You may talk to her in person when you have a chance.
