Experience of DanDan Noodle

Richard had his 3rd trip to Chengdu late March, 2007 during his Spring break. For whatever reason, he decided to taste the DanDan noodle that I ordered for myself when my younger sister took us out for lunch in a nice restaurant in Chengdu. It was Richard's first experience of really hot and spicy food. After his first bite, he immediately asked for the whole bowl. He finished the whole bowl quickly, and asked for another one, and then another one....a total of five bowls of DanDan noodle. He couldn't really sit on his chair while he was eating. He kept drinking, sticking out his tongue, and waving his hands and head. However,he couldn't help eating more. He got quite hyper and kept asking my sister: "Do you see fire coming out of my eyes, fire out of my nose, and fire out of my mouth? Do you see smoke coming out of my ears and head?" Haha......what an experience of Sichuan food!
