Pongsri

Pongsri is a popular Thai restaurant in Chelsea.  I wanted to order the eggplant gra-prow, one of my favoriate Thai dish, but since I had eggplant panini for lunch, I got sauteed rice noodle with chicken and veggies in peanut sauce instead (don't remember its Thai name).  Well, bad choice.  The noodle was over-cooked and the peanut sauce was too sweet.

The service was lousy.  I had to ask for a glass of water when the waitress took my order.  The deco is plain.  They have some small Thai-themed posters hanging on the wall.  Nothing's special. The only interesting thing is they have a reproduction of Greek warrior relief on the wall.

Overall, okay food, lousy service. I will not go back again.
