Penny stocks are not for the majority

They are too risky and too speculative. If you are serious in making money in the stock market, trading penny stocks probably won\'t lead you anywhere. As a matter of fact, you should stay away from stocks that are <10 dolloars, unless there are special reasons. Usually institutional investors don\'t buy stocks in that price range. A stock will go nowhere if there are no mutual funds or pension funds coming out to support it.

I own several dozens of stocks and only a few of them (<5 stocks) are below 10 dollars.
