报税问题：我在所谓的“Community property” 州，请问如果married filing Seperatlyly, W－2上的INCOME 也得一人报一半 吗？什么算Individual? how about interest eared in joined bank acount?

CPA98 2007-04-08 20:00:00 回复 悄悄话 not sure if you already filed your tax return, IRS pub 555 applied to your situation/question, it sounds lie you have the freedom to choose what to be considered as community property, see page 2 of pub 555.
