I-40 trip 1

this is the second day of our west trip. we drove 650mile from vandalia, il to weatherport, ok.
our first night stayed at RAMADA at vandalia, il. it is really nice.$59.99 plus tax after AAA discount
tonight we stayed at Comfort inn at weatherport. $76.99 plus tax after AAA discount.
weather sucks today. snowy. and we actually slipped out of lane and hit the curb when we tried to find one gas station. a few minutes later, we slipped again. a nice guy helped us get out of the grass. OK people is sweet.
Tulsa, OK, is the hometown of Miss America 2006. there is a big of sign of this when we passed tulsa.
OK city is kind of like indianapolis, in.
on the way today, we saw five or six accidents total. fortunately, nobody hurt . at least we saw nobody hurt. the drivers in those accidents were fine. however, it is scary to hell!
finally, we find a nice place to live tonight. and the sweetest thing happened. one of our friend called us to make sure that we are ok. since there was a korean family  lost on their travel trip. our friend just worried us and wanted to call us every day until we arrive safely. in fact he did call us last night too. how sweet is that? a truely indeed friend.
