2009 Chinese National Day + 30 year US-China normalization celebration at Indianapolis. CCTV and 凤凰台 may report this event.
All photos were taken with Canon 5D2 + Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS.
Thoughts about 5D2:
1. Excellent high ISO noise. Most photos were taken at ISO 3200. Photos were brightened in post processing, which means the effective ISO used were higher than 3200, yet no visible noise in the photos (I did not even bother with software noise reduction because I do not see a need for it).
2. The limited number of user selectable AF points does add some challenge to composing the photo. In photographing performance, focusing and recomposing is not a practical method. 1D3 is really good in this aspect. I do not know about 1Ds3. I know 1Ds3 has the same AF points as 1D3, but if its AF points are crowded in the center region, it is not that helpful in composition (do not forget its sensor is 1.3 times as big as 1D3\'s, which mean for the same AF system, the AF points will be concentrated more in the center region).
3. 5D2\'s AF speed is more than sufficient.
