I just download these two songs and listen to them.
They are both very good songs.
But, honestly, I can't tell whether I like them or not.
If I heard them in young age, I will probably like them.
Popular songs are somethings related to your memory. It is the time when you heard the song and it touched your feeling. Then, the song becomes something like your soulmate, you understand the song and the song understands you ^_^. Then, it's embeded in your mind. Whenever you hear the song that you liked before, it recalls some memory and releases your feeling.
