A simpler way to make Tiramisu

Some of English speaking friends ask for the recipe of making this home style Tiramisu.  Therefore, I write a English version of my recipe here.

This is actually not a traditional way to make Tiramisu since I don’t use mascarpone cheese and fresh eggs.

Directions :
Ingredients of Cheese mix :
Three marks of philadelphia cream cheese (3 OZ) , it is not strict,more and less is ok.(see the picture below)

¼ bag of instant pudding(see the picture below)or 1Teaspoon of vanilla extract .


1 samll box of heavy cream(~500 mL, see the picture below)


1-2 Tablespoon sugar(try youself and add more as needed)

Making the cheese mix:
Add all contents of Cheese Mix into mixing bowl, beat at low speed to mix well, then whip at high speed until the cream fim.

Cake part :
1.5 package of lady fingers(Usually two layers in each pack, better to buy it in Whole foods.


2 Tablespoon of instant coffee powder (add more as needed)+1 cup of hot water+2 Teaspoon of  Rum extract.(add more as needed,see the picture below)
 
You can also use any way to make your coffee as you like.



Non-sweetened cocoa powder .

Assembling the cake:
1. Line the bottom of the serving plate with the lady fingers, spoon the coffee mixture evenly over the lady fingers .
2. Spread  half of the Cheese mix over the lady fingers, and smooth the surface. 
3. Line another layer of the lady fingers over the Cheese mix from the step 2 and spoon the coffee mix.  
4. Repeat the step 2.
5. Sift the cocoa powder over the top layer of the cheese mix, cover and refrigerate it for minimum of 24 hours (The best is after 30-48 hours based on my experiences ).

The cake ready to serve:
