在那遥远的地方剧情介绍：

七十年代初。昆仑军区来学校招兵了。袁鹰、丁浩天、吕强、方扬四个好朋友都报了名。袁鹰的父母袁有生和翠莲反对袁鹰当兵。袁鹰不甘心，搭车去追赶队伍，找到韦铁锤。

韦铁锤和袁有生曾经是某边防连搭档，在一次消灭越境叛匪的战斗中，袁有生为掩护韦铁锤负伤失去生育能力，韦铁锤把刚出生的女儿送给转业回乡的袁有生，承诺和女儿永不相见。

十八年后，韦铁锤当上昆仑军区司令，爱人桂红云当了医院科主任，女儿韦洁也在医院当护理员。袁鹰的突然到来，让韦铁锤又惊又喜，但是他不敢收留袁鹰，他向袁有生保证会遵守当年的承诺。韦铁锤向桂红云隐瞒着袁鹰就是女儿的真相，而桂红云则一直在瞒着韦铁锤寻找女儿。

袁 有生和妻子翠莲赶到部队，要带袁鹰回家。袁有生怀念战友和老连队，韦铁锤带他回到圣女峰哨所，袁鹰同去。连长为袁有生举行了最隆重的升旗仪式。看着高高飘 扬的国旗，重复当年“一切为了祖国，一切为了人民”的誓言，袁有生热泪盈眶。袁鹰也被深深的震撼，更坚定了留下来的决心。袁有生被女儿的信念感动，同意袁 鹰留下。

吕强、丁浩天分配到圣女峰哨所，袁鹰留在医院当护理员。要分手了，他们互题临别赠言。丁浩天给袁鹰写了一首表达爱情的诗，被吕强偷去送给袁鹰。

吕 强吃不了山上的苦，躲在方扬的车上下山，被丁浩天发觉，追了回来。吕强痛哭流涕，请求丁浩天和吕强为自己保密。袁鹰跟随医疗队来到圣女峰哨所，受到战士们 热烈欢迎。因为高原反应，她病倒了，丁浩天为她违反纪律去寻找雪莲。丁浩天几次暗示写给袁鹰的诗。老蔫看出丁浩天的心思，告诉他男子汉看上了就要大胆的冲 上去，丁浩天还是不敢明说。吕强因为逃跑的事，心里有愧，不敢面对袁鹰。袁鹰鼓励吕强坚定留在昆仑山的信念。
