【劇情介紹】：
本劇透過輕鬆風趣的形式帶出一個俠義傳奇的故事。「如來神掌」乃至高無上之武功。當年龍劍飛以此打敗天殘腳後，退隱江湖，禁止龍家後人學武以免捲入江湖仇殺，且把秘笈收藏起來。
七十年後，其後人龍劍生（關禮傑）長大成人雖對武功一竅不通，但憑其聰穎機靈，亦能混跡江湖，大開殺戒並公然挑戰五大派，企圖稱霸武林。五大派誤認生為兇手。加以追捕，而真正之兇手火雲邪神（劉家輝）為了得到「如來神掌」第九式「萬佛朝宗」的秘笈，亦對生加以追殺。
生與峨嵋弟子公孫靈鳳（江欣燕）共患難以至相愛，鳳更為解救生所中之慾火焚身劇毒而獻身，另一方面，生因意外失憶，被風清清（洪興）所救，二人頓生情愫，生周旋於兩女之間，難作取捨。
生在連番奇遇之中，武功大進，最後更在龍家祖居發現「如來神掌」之秘密，打敗火雲邪神。可惜天殘腳後人天香（蔡少芬）處心積慮復仇，千方百計學得如來神掌，與生展開生死決戰，生最後憑著過人機智贏天香，拯救武林，成為一代大俠。
