Italy (7) - Duomo of Florence

Day 8
We were feeling really tired in the morning so we decided to take it EASY today. We went to see the Duomo of Florence, and climbed 463 steps to the top of its dome. Adding the stairs we climbed at the hotel (91 steps, twice), that is 645 steps up, and 645 steps down in one day, if you can call that EASY.

5. For 8 euros/person, you could climb the 463 steps to the top of the dome for the magnificent views of Florence.


6. Along the way, you get to see The Last Judgment painted on the interior of the 45 meter (147 ft) wide dome up close.
