It was a great trip for us to visit Outer bank in Kitty Hawk, NC. We stayed there for a week from 09/04/05 to 09/11/05 with other three families, Daniel Zhang, Calvin Sun and Doctor. Su.
The living house is pretty spacious and beautiful decorated, there are 6 beds with 6 full baths,
the family room and kitchen has nice ocean view. The house has everything we need, plenty plates, cups, mugs, pots and entertainment stuffs like swimming ball/pad....
On first day-Monday it is little windy, we went out to stop by information center first then visit lighthouse, it is pretty boring light house for me though it is more than 100 years old, but the good thing is we found a good ferry to crab and fish. The babies are fussy crying in the car in the morning... it looks like they want to play outside... For the rest of afternoon, we stayed rest and have a good nap. we had "ban mi xian" which was made by Dr Su and we purchased 3 dozens of crabs for dinner. The crabs were almost empty and those are worst crabs I had, thin in the body and empty is in the legs. Then we have routine program to crab on the sand with flashlights, it is very funny when you catch those littlies crabs who runs very fast and diminish in the holes...
On second day-Tuesday, we went to ferry to crab, on the way to ferry, Chunying told a story about "Worried lady", who always worried about turning off the iron. It was a good one. I am broad-minded person, I should be a little careful. On arrival of ferry, we caught a big crab after 2 minutes, there are plenty crabs over there, and we caught a lot of smaller ones which I kept in the cooler which wrapped in the plastic bag, lucky us, on our leaving, the officer inspected the cooler but did not see it, so that we can escape with a total of 25 big crabs and 12 small crabs. We ended up with a very delicious lunch to finish all those crabs, the meet is very fresh and sweet, especially smaller crabs, the meet is full and tasteful. For diner we had " pai gu, shi zi tou" made by father in law... Of course we have routine program of crabbing and card plying... Dr Su and Zhengyun were watching "Da chang Jin".
On the third day-Wednesday, they went out crabbing and fishing again, I stayed home to help take care our two babies, there are not lot of toys, but they are very excited to wake up early to be hold by the others... Wanwan can talk and imitate the others to speak like" da qi che" we made scallion cake for lunch, they came home with a lot of crabs and fishes again.... After a nap, Wanwan and I go with them to golf course to watch them play in range... we had very delicious dumpling which mainly made by ZhiJun.
On the Forth day-Thursday, We went to State park to watch sand dome, the sand hill is gorgeous, is cover with fine and soft sands, we took plenty pics with various gestures in the scenery with sands, houses and sea view... the sand becomes more hot when time is close to the noon, we lay down on it and fully enjoyed the sand's heat treatment... We had very complete dinner made by Daniel, it includes Konbu chicken, jingjiang meat, steamed pork ribs, it is very delicious...
On the fifth day-Friday, Again they went out crabbing and fishing, later they found out none of them were bringing wallet and fish food, John drove there later to meet them.... Babies and I went out to the beach, Lele brought him a set of tools to play with sands, it was very nice laying down on the sand and watch the see, it is true the sea makes you feel broad and think deeper though I have nothing to ponder... only enjoyed the sand, light, and joy being with my two precious babies... The two littlies are no longer afraid of sea wave like first time in the Virginia Beach, we hold their hands but they still want to walk more closer to the sea, they love to play the water, sands and shells, Wanwan especially likes to watch sea gulf birds walking on the sand and finding the food and she kept pointing it and murmuring... When they came back they got almost ten big croakers,and four crabs, this time they got a warning from inspection officer who found out we caught two not big enough crabs.... We had very delicious grilled lamp meat Korat for dinner, the flavor is very original same for "green bean starch cake" make by Chunying, Those lamp meat are best in NC or even in MD which ZhiJun lives, Certainly made by Zhijun again....
On the sixth day -Saturday, we visited Wright Brother who had first flight, we visited museum, and there is a big play ground there which we play with Kite, it is so easy to play there as the wind are so strong... then we went to outlet... Daniel is such a good and diligent cook who made another lunch for us, we had planned to have a seafood buffet, but we did not have any room or appetite to go outside during night, so whole week we are so economic without have any dinning out... We did not play cards that night as Xiongxiong did not cooperate... we went to sleep early...
On the seventh day- Sunday, we had moon cake to celebrate Middle Spring Festival...We left for home around 10:00AM, we had such a wonderfull week.... I regret I did not picture the meals we made, otherwise, Wenxuecity will stop " Shi fang xiao chai"...

2 days after we left, there is hurricane warning in Outer bank, the place we went crabbing and Wright Brother are mandatory evacuated.........
