发烧天后Kari Bremnes的厚润感性的嗓子，早已令万千乐迷如痴如醉。1956年,Kari Bremnes出生于挪威,她从12岁就开始唱歌,那时候偏爱古典歌曲,尤其是莫扎特的作品,从那时起就渐渐形成了属于她自己与众不同的风格.
Kari Bremnes在音乐方面没有受过正统的所谓学院教育,她在大学里修读的是语言,文学和戏剧,这也为她以后歌词创作打下了基础.她开始曾做过一段时间记者.后来Kari Bremnes终于和她的哥哥Ola一起从事演唱事业,那时大多是Ola写歌,Kari Bremnes演唱.之后,她的弟弟Lars和父亲也加入了他们组成了一支室内四重奏“Bremnesan”,在挪威还颇有名气.
