technology and society

Unfortunately, I am late again. It is really hard for me to get up on time because my bad habit has already formed.

Today the topic is technology and society.

The only impression now is Dan’s definition of technology: Two factors are included. One is control, it is intentional; and the other one is physical artifact.

I am glad finally I got a chance to make my point during the class. After the class ended, I met the lady from the school of education. She said she is overwhelmed already, since this field is totally new to her. I tried to comfort her and said we all will survive.

This class can remind me of the Korean T.V. show, “love story in Harvard”, which is about the story of four characters Pursuing Law degree in Harvard University. This class is very competitive as well. I raised my hand at least 4 times before I can be called to express my ideas. What a challenge! But think in another way, if I survive from this class, I will be able to survive any class in the future. Crow’s speech about how they spent 20 hours each day to prepare for the project for 30 days really impressed me. I have not worked that hard for a really long time period. I think from today. I have to keep myself focused on study for at least 10-12 hours each day. That is my new year’s resolutionJ
