What A Day

We servey clients to rate their experience with us, and Karen called a client I recently dealt with and the feed back was 10 out of 10. I didn't even realize how pleased that client was. I reviewed her finances, helped her with her investment, and setup a plan to pay off the debts. Karen mentioned this in the morning staff meeting, and I got a round applause and 100 reward points. Before 10 o'clock in the morning, that's exactly what I needed to start the day :) Big smile on the face. Then I met a very upset client. She does not have overdraft protection, and we charged her $35 overdraft fee yesterday because she missed a dollar to pass a cheque. We have been giving her courtesy overdraft for a long time, and by the end of July we terminated it for her due to her past credit experience. So I listened, which I find is very important when someone is angry, and then I told her I understood why she felt that way. Then I said I will reverse the fee this time however she will have to pay attention to her account next time......... By the time she left my office she turned into such a kind lady I felt so accomplished. Several clients later, 3pm, two of my Chinese clients brought a new guy who just arrived in Canada three days ago, told Rachel that they want to see me. I really appreciate it when a client comes back to me. Great conversation with that young student, gave hime a VISA, a chequings account and a term deposit. Janice is transferring to Ottawa, her favourite city in Canada so far I know. She will be working in a branch in a mall, which means she will not be saving money for awhile. The greeting card that's been floating around for everyone to sign was put in a bright yellow large envelope, and by accident someone put it into Janice's folder, almost ruined her surprise. After work we gathered in Ale House, whose initial leads to another curse phrase(hehe). The food was magnificent, and I was so full that I had to walk home. I love working here not only for the job I like, but also for the wonderful people. I think I will be working for this bank as long as i can. Can't wait for the Area Celebration when I can meet the colleagues I worked with before and drink to death and still be cosidered appropriate. The Fairy Party is held tonight too: A client of Josh invited him to a Fairy Party. Josh said to himeself my definition of fairy and yours may be very different. So he asked that guy what is the party about. Turns out a fairy is a girl who does not care about exposing themselves, comfortable with being intimate with other female and ususally bi-sexsual. Josh immidately said "my days are pretty much booked, but you guys have fun". We had a laugh at their website, not really obscene, just funny. I love this bank! and I love my job! ---> My life is great!
