Ava's paternal grandparents came to see her when she was 6 weeks old. They stayed here for barely four days, before they flew back to Shanghai. During their visit, once over dinner, Granny Chen mentioned, "... you guys need to take her to Europe..." I immediately replied, "off course, but we will wait till she can remember things.” They've been there, and they must think Europe is a wonderful place. Ava's father has been there quite a while ago, and I haven't.
Ava's maternal grandmother came to States for the first time, just to take care of Ava and Ava's mother. She once stated that she loved traveling. She said she wanted to go to Europe.
We will all go together one day. Maybe we will make the first step from Prime Meridian for that first European trip.
