也介绍一位华裔体育明星——Patrick Chan

Patrick Chan，陈伟群，CBC (Canada Born Chinese),  父母都是香港人。他90年底出生在渥太华，五岁开始学溜冰，本来是为打冰球学的（象加国大部分的孩子一样），结果发现对花样滑冰的特别兴趣，并从此走上了这条路。Patrick 在01年，十岁的时候赢得了加拿大全国少年赛的铜牌，2005 获得了 Canadian Championships 的冠军，之后一直取得了不少好成绩，包括10年冬运会的第五。

今年三月，在法国尼斯的 2012 World Championships上，他在the short program 中得分89.41, 排名第一，随后在 the free skate 得了176.60的高分，以总分266.11 摘冠，这是继二月在2012 Four Continents Championships 夺冠后，his second straight World title in 2012。

Chan is fluent in English, Frenc和 and Cantones, and is learning Mandarin。His parents wanted him to be multilingual so at home his father speaks French to him, his mother Cantonese, and he learned English from his daily life。

当然，在花样滑冰领域，华人华裔取得骄人的成绩，已经不是奇事。不过，作为一个加裔华人能称冠世界还是实属难得，何况Patrick还是个大帅哥呢，所以怎么也得赞一下。

yes he is one of my favoriate stars in sports! Figure skating for man is more difficult than woman in some elements.
