美国人心中永远的痛

七年前的今天，是美国政府及人民心中永远的痛。就在这一天，当今这个世界上唯一的超级大国遭遇了迄今为止人类历史上最为严重的恐怖袭击。纽约世界贸易中心、美国国防部所在地——五角大楼先后遭到恐怖主义分子劫持的波音757、767飞机猛烈撞击，导致世贸双塔轰然倒塌，共造成3000多人死亡和失踪。“9·11事件”被美国政府称为是其历史上第二次“珍珠港事件”。 

我曾经在世贸双塔楼工作过三年，在那栋被后撞先塌的二号楼，房间号是1848，也就是说，在十八层。幸运的是，事发一年前（2000年），我离开了那里，搬到了西部。
