以前美国人在跟中国人打交道时最头疼的是不知道老中在说什么到底想干什么。后来学会了，就雇了些中国人去搞中国人。 这些洋买办搞起同胞来可以说是心黑手辣。
就是在老美公司当主管的对老中下属也是高标准严要求，能压就压，绝不提携。

光绪十八年(1892年)，上海租界的游泳总会在跑马厅建造了上海的第一个游泳池，但仅限于外侨使用。民国4年(1915年)，在上海举办的第二届远东运动会时，开设了游泳项目，中国队获团体冠军。这次比赛，对上海游泳的开展起到了推动作用。
宣统元年(1909年)，中华全国基督教青年会游泳池建成，经数年启蒙培训，至民国5年，已能开展小型比赛。民国8[阅读全文]
