基督呼召你过一个与他不断交通的生活。基础训练包括学习如何在日常繁忙的生活中保持超脱，与周围的环境互动，但不受其干扰。你渴望一种简单的生活方式，以便你能够与他不间断地交流。但他挑战你放弃幻想一个没有杂乱的世界。接受每一天的来临，发现他就在其中。

与他谈论你每天生活的方方面面，包括你的感受。记住，你的最终目标不是控制或解决周围的一切，而是与他保持交流。成功的一天是指你一直与他保持联系，即使许多事情在一天结束时仍未完成。不要让你的待办清单（无论是写在纸上还是心里）成为指引你生活的偶像。相反，向圣灵求助，让他指导你一步步前进。圣灵将让你与基督保持亲近。

Christ is calling you to a life of constant communion with him. Basic training includes learning to live above your circumstances, even while interacting on that cluttered plane of life. You yearn for a simplified lifestyle so that your communication with him can be uninterrupted. But he challenges you to relinquish the fantasy of an uncluttered world. Accept each day just as it comes, and find him in the midst of it all.

Talk with him about every aspect of your day, including your feelings. Remember that your ultimate goal is not to control or fix everything around you; it is to keep communicating with him. A successful day is one in which you have stayed in touch with him, even if many things remain undone at the end of the day. Do not let your to-do-list (written or mental) become an idol directing your life. Instead, ask the Holy spirit to guide you moment by moment. The Spirit will keep you close to him.
