(2020-03-30 10:10:14) 下一个

As of today, the SF Bay area is home to about 7.8 million people.
And here are the numbers of cases of the nine counties (San Jose Mercury News).

Santa Clara county has about 2.0 million people. Note that 68% (or maybe even 84%) of death were people with co-morbidities.

7grizzly 回复 悄悄话 LA county has five times more people! No wonder.
7grizzly 回复 悄悄话 回复 '暖冬cool夏' 的评论 : The message I saw is that I should exercise even more regularly to keep comorbidity at bay, since I do not wish to change gender to join the better part of the population yet.
暖冬cool夏 回复 悄悄话 Very surprised to know the mortality rate is unproportionally higher with males:)) SC county used to top in the state, which recently surpassed by LA county. Better to be overcautious at this time of pandemic season, to reduce your running, thus saving your energy and keeping the social to a minimum :))
