三月份美国的主要节日是：Mardi Gras，St Patrick’s Day，和春天的正式到来。

Mardi Gras 是在基督教的 Shrove Tuesday (忏悔星期二) 举行的狂欢节，即在 Lent (大斋节) 开始的前一天。

St Patrick's Day 一般在3月17日，是爱尔兰的法定假日，中文官方翻译为圣帕特里克节，是为了纪念把基督教带入爱尔兰的圣人并由他的名字命名的最具爱尔兰特色的节日。
