About beauty

I watched the TV show of Big Idea with Donny Beutsch last night. The topic was America’s Obsession with Beauty. The discussion was about what was more important. Is it beauty or personalities?

If one has a pleasant appearance, he or she is definitely blessed. A beautiful face and a nice figure are luxury to possess, but both are only part of how people consider one beautiful. Many aspects are added to the overall impression, which might include personalities, attitudes, confidence, elegance, intelligence, social status, and much more.

When one walks in a room without any background exposed, the overall appearance could be prominent. However, if the same person has been acknowledged as a CEO prior, the look would be less dominant while the intelligence adds a glory to the consideration of beautifulness.

Not all well-known actors, actresses and models are physically pretty, but they are considered beautiful just because they are famous for what they have demonstrated.

Merits can make people look pretty, or prettier if they already have been blessed with beautiful faces. People who have more confidence in themselves could be seen more beautifully than their counterparts could. People who send others bright smiles could be considered prettier than those who are full of frowns and scorns on their faces, even though the latter are in expensive outfits and wear nice cosmetic makeup. People who have been friendly, generous and helpful are definitely beautiful in others’ eyes because what others have observed and felt make one’s view focus on who they really are.

Beauty will fade while kindness will stay. When people stay together for long, good personalities will project, and good-looking faces will be overshadowed by merits
