简介：上集“辕门射戟”，叙吕布将画戟为标的，在一百五十步外射中戟上小支，以他的勇武劝止了袁术与刘备的战争。

本集叙曹操收降张绣，屯兵宛城，因为骄慢荒淫，失去了人心，被张绣夜袭击败，折了大将典韦，逃回许都。不久，他连结了刘备、吕布、孙策，进攻袁术，占领寿春，移兵再征张绣。张绣用谋士贾诩的计策，联络刘表的人马，再破曹操。曹操屡战不胜，又得到袁绍进兵许都的消息，慌忙退回许都去了。

下集“白门楼”，叙曹操连下徐州、下邳，擒杀吕布。
