在过去的几周里，我和女儿一起对I am Mei Ling (1)又进行了多次的修改。下面是几处修改的例子。

I couldn’t help shivering

And I couldn’t see anything.

在原I am Mei Ling (1)中有5，6个verses都是和Ling压韵，为此我们进行了修改。

(36) (old)

My mom put a soft pink sheet

On the top bunk of the bed.

Then she held one of my hands.

在这一章里，原来有两处都是bed，said压韵，为此修改了一处。

After she had cleaned the bed a while.

Then she gently held one of my hands.

She said to me, forcing a smile.

对unpacking和Ling来压韵进行了修改。

When he unpacked the things we brought.

Although I knew it was his shadow,

It still frightened me, a whole lot.

(75) (old)

He never tells lies.

I thought that in my brain.

“Look at my eyes, sweetheart,”

Dad said to me, again.

Again的发音有两种，当again的尾音发in时与brain压韵，当again的尾音发en时与then压韵。

在I am Mei Ling (1)中曾使用again与then压韵，again的发音应统一为en，不能用brain和again，所以对此处进行了修改。
