永不言弃

    人生得意须尽欢，那人生不得意，又该当如何呢？更何况人生不得意，十之八九。

    与大家共同分享一首我特别喜欢的励志的小诗。每当我觉得沮丧懊恼、难过压抑的时刻，或者说，每当我需要鼓舞、需要慰籍的时刻，我就会反复地大声地读一读这首诗。

    是它赶走惆怅焦躁，使我恢复宁静理性的心绪；
    是它在迷途困境中给我指航，令我一次次再度鼓起勇气；
    是它一直温柔而坚定地叮嘱我，“加油，永不言弃”！

    曾有不少人宣称某某是这首诗的作者，但至今尚无考证。无论是谁，这位无名的作者是值得铭记的，只愿你、我、他都能喜欢这首美丽的，鼓舞人心的小诗。我不是学翻译的，因为很喜欢，自己便试着翻成了中文。做不到信、雅、达的高标准，仅仅希望词能达意。

    席慕蓉在《渡口》里说，“就把祝福别在襟上吧，而明日，明日又隔天涯。”也把我的祝福别在衣襟上送给你，我的朋友，在失意的时刻，请你永远也别放弃！

Don't Quit!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit -

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
