some silly thoughts,
1) as a company, GOOG is more real, its PE is more projectable. BIDU carries the big "China growth" flag and has higher beta,
2) current TA, BIDU's resistence at 90-92 is much bigger a budden (flat, bounced down 3 times), GOOG is having some breathing room outside of the big triangle,
3) small buyers of GOOG are more holding type, BIDU's smaller fishes are more speculative,
4) GOOG's institution sponsors are more mutual funds, BIDU more hedge funds and/or Chinese private funds.
trading together with mutual funds is like swimming with big whales, trading together with hedges are like swimming with sharks,
all relative speaking,
