北欧五国掠影（一）：序

昨晚，刚从今夏的北欧五国行回来。因为6个小时的时差，昨天是漫长的一天；因为早两天已经开始冒头的感冒开始加重，浑身酸疼、昏昏沉沉，今天也觉得是漫长的一天。 所以，这序就简单写几句了事了。 

去北欧的念头是去年底开始确认的。今年一月初就定好了机票，是因为发现Icelandair的好deal。这家冰岛的航空公司，允许最长可以达7天的stopover中转停留，不需要付任何额外的费用，机票不加价。 而且，他们的价格，比其他的航空公司从蒙城到瑞典斯城的其他航班都便宜。 三张往返机票共加币2712.48。

机票定好之后，其他的具体计划是后来一点点慢慢填进去的。确定什么时间在哪个国家、哪个时间段需要租车；二月租好离开瑞典去丹麦和挪威的车、接着决定冰岛的第一天也不跟当地的团，因为最后敲定要去的冰川Glacier Lagoon，没法做到；三月定好去芬兰赫尔辛基游轮；四月底、五月初定好所有的旅馆；六月才终于总结了一下行程计划。发现行程计划做得越来越简单，一是因为人越来越懒了，二是因为除了几个必去之地，其他的留多了点随意性。 不过，每个国家，还是有单独的、更多详细的信息和计划总结。

简单的行程计划： 

Day 1, June 23, 2016, Thursday          Montreal to Reykjavik (Iceland) 4hrs    

Flight:  9 :05pm to 6:00am+1   FI 804 Montreal (YUL) to eykjavik (KEF)

 

Day 2, June 24, 2016, Friday    Iceland    850km     

We arrive at 6:00am and leave 1:15am next day, totally 19 hours.  Arrival and pickup car 2 hrs, check-in 2 hrs, then 15 hours left for the tour.

6 hrs to Glacier Lagoon, 2 hrs staying there with boat tour, 7 hours on the way back, pass Öræfajökull volcano and stop at Skaftafell to see 2 water falls. Totally 15 hrs.

Speed limit on highway #1 is usually 90kmh

 

Day 3, June 25, 2016, Saturday        Iceland to Stockholm  3hrs

After being picked us up from airport, we will go to Hotel directly to put down luggage and have breakfast. Then, we will go to Djurgården, where have Skansen and The Vasa Museum (price 130 SEK).  Maybe SSE?

The park of Kungsträdgården will often offer free festivals and concerts.

 

Day 4, June 26, 2016, Sunday      Stockholm    

Royal palace (price 150 SEK), Gamla Stan (old town), downtown

Travelcards: •  24 hours: SEK115 (full price); SEK 70 (reduced price); •     1 zone: SEK36 (full price); SEK20 (reduced price)

 

Day 5, June 27, 2016, Monday    Stockholm to Helsinki Cruise 

Visit Sodermalm in the morning （including Katarina Elevator) and take cruise leaving 4:00pm in the afternoon.

 

Day 6, June 28, 2016, Tuesday   Helsinki        

The cruise arrives at 9:15 am. Visit the underground church (Eglise de Temppeilaukio), Eglise Orthodoxe de La Sainte-Trinite (Pyhan kolminaisuuden Kirkko).  Close to the port, there are Cathedrale Uspenski, and Cathedrale Tuomiokirko, Place du marche (Kauppatori).

Cruise leaves at 6:00pm
 

Day 7, June 29, 2016, Wednesday         Stockholm to Malmo       608km          

Cruise arrives at 10:00 am, go to pick up the rental car, then leave for Malmo. Visit city center of Malmo.

Falsterbo or Skanör. Main attraction: Great sand beaches and proximity to Malmö.

 

Day 8, June 30, 2016, Thursday           Malmo to Copenhagen    40km     

Visit Copenhagen: Operaen , Christianhavn, The Little Mermaid,  Amalienborg Slot,  Nytorv, Rosenborg Slot, Superkilen ,  Rundetarn, Christiansborg Slot.

Day 9, July 01, 2016, Friday     Copenhagen to Oslo         621km     

Leave Copenagen after BF, stopover in Gothenburge, Sweden if possible. Arrive later afternoon. Visit Royal Place, Radhuset, Akeshus Fortress, Opera house, etc.
 

Day 10, July 02, 2016, Saturday       Oslo to Flam             333km     

Continue visit Oslo in the morning and leave for Flam after lunch.  After arrive Flam, visit the town (or take Flamsbana)

Day 11, July 03, 2016, Sunday            Flam to Hellesylt                278km     

Take FLAMSBANA – The most beautiful train journey in the world.  Round way 2 hours

After lunch, leave for Hellesylt

 

Day 12, July 04, 2016, Monday      Hellesylt to Molde       210km     

Travel to the inner end of Geirangerfjord by boat. Flydasjuvet close o Geiranger has one of the best views in Norway. Afterwards, Troll's Causeway (Trollstigen), then go Fjellstua to see Alesund.

During Sunset time, go pass Atlantic Ocean road if weather allows.
 

Day 13, July 05, 2016, Tuesday          Molde to Lillehammer    pass Atlantic Highway             489km     

In July, Molde is the site of a lively jazz festival. Atlanterhavsveien (the Atlantic Road) from Averoy toward Kristiansund, passes over islands and across 12 low bridges that have been built right over the sea.

Day 14, July 06, 2016, Wednesday       Lillehammer to Stockholm    619km   

The Olympics Museum and park.  beautiful scenery and the quality of the light
Return the rental car by 8:00pm 
 

Day 15, July 07, 2016, Thursday      Stockholm to Reykjavik to Montreal
