when we arrived Meeru, the resort we've chosen for our holidays in Maldives, we were told that the resort was overbooked: No more room for us!!!
As plan B, we were sent to a cruise for 3 days + 2 nights.
we took a taxi boat to join the cruise boat which departed with other 2 couples 1 hour ago:

We were guided to snorkeling around in few places, to see the reef & fish etc.
We first arrived to a sand bank: such a wonderful and bizzarre place, just sand, nothing else!
A couple made use of it to have romantic dinner, we jealously speculated that it must be an engagement dinner!
Wonderful reef of Maldives! Everything there is colourful! The reef, fish, lobsters etc....amongst snow white sand.
Currrent is strong there, we had to wear fins. The water flowed around us like wind, cool for a while, then warm a while....
And the evenings were dedicated for fishing...

We spent the second day around this lovely little island
And snorkeling around it turned out to be fruitful: We saw 9 turtles in total!
They are so elegant in water, their movements look like Tai-Chi, they swam in the water like kites flying in the sky...
Just about the time to leave for the land, I managed to spot a turtle trying to swim upwards. I swam over, it gently let me touching it, while it takes its time to raise its head above water to breath...Magic moment!

Have a nap
while snorkeling again the afternoon, we spot some dolphins! However they were so quick that we only had a quick glance of them from far, what a pity!
well the evening activities cheered us up, look at THIS!!!!
we finished the romantic evening by dancing .
When I woke up at midnight, I came out to have a look at the sky. Stars were so wonderfully bright! Amazing!
We have been moaning about not being able to see dolphins closer and better.We were rewarded by a second chance on the third day. First we heard their whisles from far, then we quickly assembled on the boat, and chased them on full speed, this time, we got them!
We finished the cruise with triumph and fish curry... now time to head back to Meeru island...
On our way back:
Oh, I'm going to step on solid land, and sleep on solid bed, can't wait!!!
