译至后四句，如再译作“斯泰丰的吻”、“罗宾的吻”，便是死译，当为译者大忌。虽然大部分中文读者对英语人名暗含的文化信息不甚了了，但他们对春情和秋意理应心有灵犀。于是变通一下，译为“春之吻”和“秋之吻”。这样既弥补了因中文无法译出而流失原诗韵味的遗憾，又使行文多了变化，不致呆板。
